SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- U.S. Sen. Bob Bennett has filed for re-election.
The Republican is seeking a fourth term, but is facing several challengers from within his own Republican party. Some Republicans contend Bennett is not conservative enough, but he disputes that notion.
Bennett filed with the Utah lieutenant governor's office Friday, the first day filing was open.
Leonard Fabiano of South Jordan also filed Friday to challenge Bennett for the GOP nomination.
