SALT LAKE CITY -- Patrons inside a Salt Lake City 7-Eleven had to run for cover Wednesday morning when a car slammed through the window.

Police say an unlicensed driver drove the car to the convenience store at Redwood Road and 500 North.

But instead of putting the car in reverse as he was leaving, he put it in drive, hit the curb and accelerated into the front of the store.

Luckily, nobody was hurt, but the driver did have to be cut out of the vehicle.
