(KSL News) -- Three people died in a multiple-car pileup in Northern Utah this afternoon.
It happened on I-15 near Honeyville in Box Elder County. Utah state troopers tell Eyewitness News a northbound car swerved to miss hitting a dog, crossed the median, and hit a southbound car head-on.
A semi-truck then hit that car, killing 71-year olf Ying Ru Zhou, two-year old Jordan Buchmiller, and 10-month old Jasmine Buchmiller -- all of Sandy were in that car and were killed instantly. A fourth person in the car, Jared Buchmiller, was injured.
