(KSL News) -- A Utah high school coach faces some serious criminal charges.

Rodrigo Humberto Garza is an assistant baseball coach at Copper Hills High. He was arrested and booked into jail on a charge of rape of a child. He's also charged with unlawful sexual relations with a minor.

West Jordan police tell us the victim is not a student at Copper Hills and that Garza's position as coach had nothing to do with the charges.
