PROVO, Utah (AP) -- The body of a man found in the Provo River this morning under the I-15 bridge has been identified.

Provo police Captain Rick Healey says the man is 39-year-old Donald James Grothe. He says Grothe's body was found just before 7:30 this morning by a teenage girl on her way to school.
Healey says Grothe was found with a fishing pole in his hand, which leads them to believe he was fishing at the time of his death.

Authorities says the death appears to be accidental, however, they won't have an official cause until autopsy results are back.
