(KSL News) More charges for a woman accused of stealing checks from her dead sister-in-law.

Nikki Lynn Warner is currently awaiting trial for forgery, for stealing and using checks belonging to Sharee Hatch, who was murdered by her estranged husband five years ago.

Police say Warner and two men broke into a Spanish Fork home in February taking gold, jewelry and checks. They then used the checks to drain the owner's bank account.

Eight new charges have now been filed against Warner, including burglary and identity theft.
