(AP) -- A teen accused in connection with the shooting death of another man in Maryland has been arrested in Utah.

Police say 17-year-old Andrew Tuell of Annapolis, Maryland was arrested on Friday in West Valley City after officers received a tip the teen had fled to Utah.

Tuell is wanted in connection with the shooting death of 23-year-old Terrance Powell of Brooklyn Park. Officers say he was shot to death last month in a public housing community in Annapolis, Maryland.

Tuell has been charged with first-degree murder and is now awaiting extradition.
