SALT LAKE CITY -- Police spotted a robbery suspect Tuesday afternoon in West Valley, but when they tried to pull the woman over, she -- and the man with her -- fled.
The chase began near Redwood Road and S.R. 201 in Salt Lake City around 4:30 p.m. As seen from Chopper 5, the chase ended when the two rammed their SUV into another driver and a building near 1700 South and Main Street. The driver and passenger then fled on foot before being brought down and taken into custody.
Driver Dawn Levi was wanted on felony robbery charges and passenger Cory Mendenhall was wanted for parole violation.
Police also believe they hit another vehicle near 1500 South and State Street, but the driver of that car did not stop. Police would like that driver to contact officials.
