(KSL News) -- Two semi trucks collided this afternoon, sending both drivers to the hospital.
Officers are still investigating the accident to determine exactly what happened. They say a blue truck was headed southbound on 5400 South and 8400 West around 1:15 this afternoon. Then a white truck turned onto the road, possibly in front of the other semi.
The blue semi's tires locked up and the car slid right into the other, pushing the white semi off the road.
One driver was flown to the hospital in serious condition with internal injuries. The other was also treated and released for minor injuries.
