WEST JORDAN, Utah (AP) -- A mother of a baby who died from a methamphetamine overdose was sentenced today for moving her daughter's body from one location to another.

A judge ordered 23-year-old Mary Joyce Lacey to serve three years of probation, 300 hours of community service and finish the drug-abuse counseling she's already enrolled in.

She pleaded guilty last year to desecration of a dead human body for moving the child's body.

Mother of Baby Who Died After Eating Meth Sentenced

Five-month-old Estelle Jean Lacey died in December of 2005 from a drug overdose after Lacey's boyfriend left a bag of meth within the baby's reach. Lacey then moved the body from the home --- where her boyfriend 44-year-old Raymond D. Chesley lived ---- to Murray to keep police away from Chesley, who was on parole.

Chesley was sentenced last month to prison for one to 15 years.
