TOOELE, Utah (AP) -- A Salt Lake City man has been killed in a rollover accident on I-80 in Tooele County.
The Utah Highway Patrol says 41-year-old Ruben Serrano-Gonzales was driving his pickup truck on the highway yesterday when he went off the side of the road and hit a post. However, troopers say he then overcorrected, crossed both lanes, skidded and rolled his truck several times.
Officers say Gonzales was ejected from the vehicle and later died at the scene. UHP says he was NOT wearing his seatbelt.
The accident remains under investigation.
