SAN DIEGO -- Federal authorities are offering a $5,000 reward for information about vandalism at a California church.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives says sometime on the night of Jan. 24, someone spray painted the outside of chapel owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints near San Diego.

A fire had also been deliberately set in the foyer of the church.

Damage was estimated at over $5,000.
