(KSL News) A bill restricting clubs in high schools is still awaiting the Governor's signature, but some groups are already threatening lawsuits if it goes into law.
The bill requires all students to get parental consent for extracurricular clubs and outlaws any discussion of sex or sexuality.
The Utah ACLU has sent a letter to the Governor urging him not to sign it because it violates the First Amendment right of freedom of speech.
The Governor's spokesperson says he is still reviewing the bill.
