LOS ANGELES, Aug 18, 2005 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- "Alias" star Jennifer Garner says she's sorry news of her pregnancy was leaked by the media before she had a chance to tell her friends.

As a result of being scooped on something so personal, Garner tells InStyle magazine she's "hyperprotective" of her personal life and "uncomfortable with people reading to too much about my pregnancy or my relationship."

Garner married father-to-be Ben Affleck on June 29. The couple had dated for about a year. She does not reveal in the September issue of InStyle too many details about the wedding, which actually caught the media by surprise.

"We were able to have a beautiful, private wedding, and I couldn't be happier," she said.
