PROVO, Utah (AP) -- A Brigham Young University student accused in the sexual abuse of a teenage girl was jailed over the weekend.

Police say the 18-year-old man from Hawaii was recently at a Provo apartment with several girls when he invited one of them to come into the bathroom to talk.

Officers say that's where the man dropped his pants and tried to fondle the 17-year-old girl's breasts and touch her genital area. The girl eventually got out of the bathroom and called police.

The man, however, was booked into jail over the weekend for investigation of forcible sex abuse and unlawful detention. However --- he bailed out yesterday.
