The Indianapolis Colts on Monday re-signed veteran linebacker and former Cougar Rob Morris, who was moved into the starting lineup for the playoffs as the team's defense helped spark its run to the Super Bowl championship.
Morris had been an unrestricted free agent.
The 6-foot-2, 240-pound Morris, 32, was a first-round draft pick in 2000 out of BYU and was the starting middle linebacker for four seasons before coming off the bench during 2005 and much of last season.
