COALVILLE, Utah (AP) -- Authorities say alcohol may have been involved in a crash over the weekend that claimed the life of a Colorado man.

The Utah Highway Patrol says 78-year-old Harold Rother from Cheyenne Wells, Colorado was killed in the accident Saturday on I-80 near Coalville.

Troopers say Rother was trying to pass two semis when his truck went off the road, flipped 20 feet into the air, went down an embankment and landed sideways in the river.

Authorities say the man was speeding at the time of the accident and alcohol was found at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
