(KSL News) Tyson Fresh Meats is voluntarily recalling some 16-thousand pounds of ground beef. The U.S. Department of Agriculture says the beef may be contaminated with E-coli.

Tyson Ground Beef Recalled

The recall affects beef packaged on February 16. The packages bear the following establishment number: "Est. 9268."

The beef was sent to distributors in Utah, Idaho, Oregon and Washington.

We called the Utah Department of Agriculture. It will follow up with grocery stores on Monday to make sure the beef is pulled from shelves.
