NEW YORK --- At Sunday's Broadway "Lennon" preem, all eyes were on Yoko Ono Lennon and son Sean Lennon. Yoko danced in her seat and clapped boisterously, even when the musical re-created an appearance by her and John on "The Mike Douglas Show" and the TV "applause" sign came on.

During intermission, she and Sean graciously fielded questions from well wishers including Ralph Nader and Al Sharpton.

"Are you excited?" a woman asked.

"I'm nervous," Yoko admitted.

"Is your mom enjoying the show?" a man asked.

"Well, she is involved with it," Sean said.

Yoko took in most of the previews, but Sunday's perf was Sean's first look at the show. In act two, when Yoko (Julie Danao-Salkin) gives birth to Sean, the cast sings "Beautiful Boy," and there was much hand-holding between the real Yoko and Sean.

Afterward at the Sardi's party, Yoko revealed what she told her son. "Sean was a little embarrassed by 'Beautiful Boy,' " she recalled. "So I told him his father would have been proud of him for being so mature and grown-up."
