Think of the children! That’s what KSL hopes Utahns will do as they grapple with the escalating scourge of methamphetamine abuse throughout the state.

Clearly, those affected most severely by the plague of meth are the innocent children of female addicts. They’re everywhere! So, when requests come in for more money for treatment, prevention and resources, KSL says, think of the children.
As lawmakers debate the proposed Drug Offenders Reform Act during the upcoming legislative session, let the blameless victims of parental drug abuse be foremost on their minds. In the midst of bureaucratic discussion over policies, procedures and protocol, haunting thoughts of the children should be preeminent. And if anyone is inclined to place one’s head in the sand and pretend the meth scourge is blown out of proportion, again we say, think of the children.
KSL believes meth abuse is a societal crisis that demands strategic and effective intervention. Yes, think of the children and act wisely now, or face the exponential consequences of doing little or nothing.
