The KSL Editorial Board will miss Clara Hogue.
Clara is retiring today after more than 26 years with KSL and our parent company, Bonneville International Corporation.
Throughout her tenure she has served as personal assistant to three successive editorial directors. None of the three could have done the job without her!
Think of it. Clara has been a key cog in the KSL editorial process for nearly three of the four decades the regular commentaries have been airing.
She helped organize the meetings of the Editorial Board. She handled the logistics of keeping tract of each editorial and making sure the right one aired on any given day. Often, she interacted with you, the public, as you called in to express your views. And those of us who wrote the editorials will be forever grateful for her editing skills.
Organized, thorough and dependable are words that describe her. Efficient, motivated and friendly, should be added to the list.
We wish Clara and her husband, Wayne, the very best as they devote time to their family, travel a bit and generally unwind from a lifetime of conscientious commitment to their jobs.
Yes, the KSL Editorial Board will miss Clara Hogue. And from a personal perspective, this editorial writer will find a huge void in his professional life come Monday.
