OREM, Utah (AP) -- A former Brigham Young University basketball player charged with driving under the influence has pleaded not guilty.
Rashaun Broadus entered the plea yesterday in an Orem courtroom. He also faces a driving without a license and speeding charge.
The hoopster was arrested last month in Orem, the day after he scored 19 points against San Diego State for the Cougars' 80-to-58 home-court win.
Since then the point guard has been suspended from the team, and a BYU Honor Code investigation is still underway.
Broadus' next court hearing is scheduled for March 29th.
