Utah Jazz senior vice president of basketball operations, Kevin O'Connor, announced today that the team has released Louis Amundson.

The Jazz signed Amundson to a 10-day contract on February 5 and a second 10-day contract on February 19. The 6-8 forward out of UNLV appeared in one game for the Jazz and did not score in two minutes of action.

Amundson joined the Jazz from the NBA Development League where he averaged 10.7 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.5 blocks in 25.0 minutes with the Colorado 14ers. He was the ninth GATORADE Call-Up from the D-League this season and the third in Jazz franchise history.
