People Put Bird Nests in Place at Farmington Bay

(KSL News) People, not birds, were busy building nests today at Farmington Bay.

Folks with the Utah Water Fowl Association, the Airboat Association and Delta Water Fowl organized the project.

Dozens of people put 100 nest boxes off the ground, to keep them safe from predators.

Officials, with the help of students from Weber State University, will monitor the nests to see how many birds hatch.
