A growing number of Utah residents will be flying to their holiday destinations this year, despite a dip nationally in airline reservations.

A poll of 13-hundred Americans across the United States by Triple-A found that about 98-thousand Utah residents will be flying between mid-December and January second.

That's an increase of 4-point-9 percent from last year.

Nationally, 59-point-1 (M)million Americans will be traveling during the holiday season. That's down one percent from a year ago.
