(Brigham City-AP) -- Two Utah state prison inmates may have tried to escape from the Box Elder County jail during the weekend.
Another inmate at the jail called the Standard Examiner newspaper -- collect -- to report the news.
A jailer confirmed the incident but wouldn't give details.
The inmate says the two who tried to escape were caught after trying to dig holes in the wall.
