News Specialist Karen Scullin reportingA solemn memorial was held today for two men who died trying to save the lives of others.

Hundreds gathered today to remember Life Flight helicopter pilot Craig Bingham and medic Mario Guerrero who perished one week ago when their aircraft crashed while hovering in heavy fog.

The only survivor, medic Stein Rosqvist, shared his thoughts from his hospital bed.

The helipad sits empty right now, but tomorrow morning Life Flight's life-saving mission will be back on course. But without Craig, Mario, and Stein, members of the Life Flight family say it won't be easy.

As the families try to move forward, they took today to look back.

This family wearing all red and white will always remember two men who gave so much, and one who lived to give even more.

Stein Rosqvist is the only survivor of Friday's crash.

"Craig and Mario are two of the greatest people you could ever know," Rosqvist says.

It's clear, the community will miss the two quiet heroes. It seems they touched, or saved, so many lives.

"We have no doubt that their rapid response and their expertise saved his life in those very critical moments following his injury," says Todd Charlie.

Through the tears and the pain of losing two men it seems everyone adored, it's clear there is a mission to carry out. And it's believed Craig Bingham and Mario Guerrero would want it that way.

"They'll always be with us. They'll always be with us when we go out on that next call," says T.J. Kennedy who works with Life Flight.

"This is the final call out for Life Flight Craig Bingham and paramedic Mario Guerrero. Craig and Mario flew with us from October 2001 to January 2003. They will continue to fly with us forever," Kennedy says.

Life Flight will hold its own private memorial tomorrow morning. Then it's back to work, and back to saving lives.
