(Salt Lake City, KSL News) -- Another group of citizens is fighting a huge Wal-Mart Superstore that wants to move into their community.
This time its Clinton, where Wal-Mart is planning to build one of its superstores near the city park. The road that would lead to the store is a two lane highway that residnts say is often congested.
At a city planning meeting last night residents expressed concerns about increased traffic, light and noise pollution and refuse the store might bring.
Wal-Mart says it is exceeding buffer requirements for the site.
A West Valley neighborhood is also fighting plans for a Wal-Mart Superstore near their homes.
