(Salt Lake City, KSL News) -- A routine traffic stop ended as a major pot bust outside Nephi.

Police say an officer pulled over a car because of erratic driving. During the stop the trooper found the driver didn't have a license or proof of insurance.

The officer asked permission to search the car and discovered nearly 100 pounds of marijuana in various hidden compartments. The street price of the drugs would be around $300,000.

The 26-year-old Salt Lake resident was returning from Phoenix.

He now faces felony drug charges.
