(Salt Lake City, KSL News) -- Police have identified a body found last night in the Jordan River as that of Randy Lee Anderson. He is believed to be approximately 50 years old.

Last night police said they were unsure how the body ended up in the river, but at this point there is no evidence of foul play. An autopsy is being conducted.

"There's a lot of debris at this particular bridge so it just got caught in the debris and it could've been placed right there or it could've been placed somewhere upstream, we're just not sure," says Lt. John Cribbs with the Salt Lake City Police Department.
