(Salt Lake City-AP) -- Another official at Snow College has been placed on administrative leave while an embezzlement scandal grows.
Carl Holmes was asked to temporarily step down from his post as president of the Utah College of Applied Technology campus in Richfield.
Holmes is the second executive to face dismissal in connection with a state investigation into a check-cashing scheme that allegedly stripped more than $100,000 in one year from Snow College. Kim Blackburn, who was in charge of the school's finances, was fired in December.
