OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- The fur is limited to five.
That's how many cats are allowed in each Weber County residence after commissioners yesterday revised the ordinance.
It used to be nine cats per address.
Officials hope the change will reduce the number of orphan cats. Sometimes the animal shelter has more cats than it can handle.
The new rule covers unincorporated parts of Weber County and any city that relies on the county for animal control.
