(Cedar City-AP) -- The number of Cedar High School boys arrested within the past week and charged with possession or distribution of drugs has risen to ten.
Three arrests were made Wednesday after a 15-year-old allegedly admitted selling marijuana to a 14-year-old in school.
Another 14-year-old also was arrested after his mother told police he stole her hydrocodone, the generic form of the painkiller Lortab, which is the drug involved in most of the arrests. At least five prescriptions have been involved.
The first student investigated had a legitimate prescription and he allegedly distributed some of his pills.
Four other boys allegedly stole medication from family members and friends.
Principal Carol Bishop said all of the students involved have been suspended for ten days and may be expelled from school.
