(KSL News) -- An Illinois man is dead after exiting an Amtrak train, as it was traveling 70- miles an hour through Toole County.
The Amtrak crew called police around 2:30 this morning, to report the 62- year old man had either jumped or fallen from the train.
About an hour and a half later the man's body was found near Delle.
Police say the same man called them ealier, while passing through Salt Lake City, and said "four black individuals" on the train were trying to rob him.
Investigators did not find any passengers on the train who fit that desciption, but asked the crew to keep an eye on the man.
When the crew went to check on him, they found only an open window.
Police are still investigating.
