Kidnapping suspects Brian Mitchell and Wanda Barzee, as well as abductee Elizabeth Smart may have been at a party last fall.
Partygoers said the three apparently wandered into the party from off the street. Brian Mitchell, "Emmanuel", may have started some confrontational discussions with a couple of other people in the crowd of 100 or so people. Witnesses say that the young girl, who has since been identified as Elizabeth, stayed very close to the other woman and did not say anything. The following photograph was taken at that party:
