(KSL TV) Utahns are reacting to news of the U-S attack on Iraq. They share concern for U-S troops in the region, and all wonder how long they will be there.
Some are vey supportive of President Bush.
Josh Ingersoll: "HE SEEMED VERY HEARTFELT, I STAND BEHIND HIM 100 PERCENT."
Gerald Button: "WE KNEW IT WAS COMING, AND IN MY VIEW IT IS SOMETHING THAT HAS TO BE DONE, I'M SORRY, I DON'T LIKE WAR BUT IT SEEMS TO ME WE FIGHT NOW OR WE FIGHT LATER."
Todd Trzcinski: "I FELT LIKE FROM THE BEGINNING IT WAS INEVITABLE, SO I'M CERTAINLY IN SUPPORT OF THE TROOPS. SINCE IT'S STARTED, WE NEED TO SUPPORT IT AND HOPE IT COMES TO A CONCLUSION AS QUICK AS POSSIBLE."
Others disagreed.
Camille Fauth: "IT MAKES ME SICK TO MY STOMACH, HOW WE CAN BOMB A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY, INNOCENT PEOPLE. I'M ASHAMED FOR OUR COUNTRY."
Marily Barker: "I'M SCARED, MY CHILDREN ARE SCARED. THIS WASN'T A GOOD THING. I DON'T THINK IT WAS."
