(KSL TV) The man who authorities say plotted to kill his estranged girlfriend in a sniper-style attack now faces a charge of attempted murder.
Michael Ferguson was arrested on Monday following a short standoff with police.
Ferguson allegedly had climbed onto the roof of a strip mall with a loaded rifle to wait for the woman. Along with attempted murder, Ferguson is charged with violating a protective order and illegal gun possession.
