(KSL TV) A federal judge has ruled that a University of Utah lawsuit challenging a state law that allows guns on campus must be heard in state court.
The ruling allows the University to continune to ban weapons until the case is heard.
The University filed a pre emptive lawsuit to uphold its 25- year-old gun ban after Attorney General Mark Shurtleff asserted last year that the school was violating state law.
