(Fort Duchesne-AP) -- Authorities near the Uintah-Ouray American Indian Reservation are searching for a woman who has been missing for more than a week.

Clara Jenkins was last seen at a friend's house on April 15th. Family and friends haven't heard from her since.

A few days ago, search-and-rescue members from Duchesne and Uintah counties and the Ute Indian Tribe were assisting the Bureau of Indian Affairs in the search.

Authorities say she disappeared under suspicious circumstances, but didn't release more details.
