(KSL TV) A little girl's screams may have saved her from harm Tuesday morning.
Salt Lake County Sheriff's deputies tell KSL Radio that a man broke into an apartment at 27 West Gordan Street -- that's about 40th South.
They say he was standing over the six-year-old girl's bed when she woke up and began shouting.
Deputies say he got in through an unlocked sliding glass door in the apartment.
They're now searching for him, and classifying this case as an attempted burglary.
The girl is reportedly safe.
