A Cache County man who professed to teach moral values through the martial arts has pleaded guilty to violating that trust.

David Merrell, of Benson, pleaded guilty today to four counts of sexual assault as part of a plea bargain.

He originally faced 45 felony charges stemming from sexual assaults on four female teenagers who took swordmanship classes from Merrell in Logan.

Merrell will be sentenced in June.

Investigators are trying to learn whether he had more victims.
