(Roosevelt-AP) -- Police in Roosevelt have arrested a 41-year-old man on child molestation charges.
Edison Lee Strong was booked into the Duchesne County Jail early Sunday. Police say Strong saw news reports about himself and his alleged crimes -- and he tried to flee the state. But he was apprehended in Roosevelt without incident.
Strong will be transferred to the Salt Lake County Jail on three child sex-abuse-related charges in Sandy.
