(KSL TV) Two people were injured overnight in a high speed chase that started in West Jordan and went all the way to North Salt Lake.
It then ended in a crash, sending both the suspect and his passenger to the hospital.
The suspect, Steven Hardenbrook, was first spotted by J-CAT -- a multi city task force dedicated to finding criminal fugitives.
Hardenbrook was wanted for parole violations.
The suspect then tried to elude police and was pursued by officers through Salt Lake City and into North Salt Lake.
Police say that high speed combined with wet roads finally brought an end to the chase.
Cpl. Mitch Gwilliam of the North Salt Lake police department says the suspect came off the freeway and went through a fence.
Both Hardenbrook and a female passenger were taken to local hospitals with minor injuries.
