(Salt Lake City-AP) -- It's getting a little cheaper to fill up the gas tank around Utah.
In April, triple-A reports that unleaded fuel prices dropped an average of nine cents in Utah.
The average price was a dollar 57. The national average was one dollar, 50 cents. That's down ten cents from the previous month -- but a dime more than it was a year ago.
In the Utah cities surveyed, the price was down everywhere except for Moab, where it went up two cents.
Triple-A Utah attributes the drop to a decline in crude oil prices. Oil was selling for 40 dollars a barrel before the war in Iraq. It's dropped to less than 0 dollars a barrel today.
