Ogden detectives need the public's help in finding an accused rapist tonight.

Back in early May a young woman from out of state showed up at a building, near 533 26th Street in Ogden, for a job interview, but the doors were locked and she wasn't able to get inside.

She started back to a near-by bus stop, but was stopped by a man who looked something like this...this is a composite sketch. After repeated offers for a ride the woman accepted, and that's when she told police he raped her.

Det. Steve Zaccardi/Ogden Police Department: "SHORTLY AFTER THAT HE BECAME APOLOGETIC AND MADE COMMENTS LIKE I THOUGHT YOU WERE A PROSTITUTE..I'M SORRY I SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE THIS.."

The man is described as having olive skin..possibly Hispanic. He's about 5 foot ten with a medium build and a thin mustache. He has two diamond stud earrings in his right ear, and at the time he was wearing a New York Yankees baseball cap backwards. If you have any information..you're asked to call Ogden Police.
