(KSL TV) Utah County felt the buffetings of 70 to 90 mph winds this afternoon.
Even a small twister was reported in Payson. The F-zero tornado touched down marking a path about hundred yards.
Salem, Spanish Fork and Springville reported heavy winds which knocked down fences, trees and power lines.
Not far away, in Santaquin, alarms to warn of possible mudslides, sounded twice today. Those alarms were installed on the eastern hillsides ravaged by a forest fire two summers ago.
Utah County Sheriff’s office says they have not received any reports of structural damage so far.
