(Salt Lake City-AP) -- Salt Lake City police arrested a suspected car thief early this morning after a car chase.
Officers spotted the suspect trying to ram his way out of the fence that surrounds a car dealership in a stolen Honda.
The car sped away and officers chased. Things got a little difficult for the suspect when the hood on his newly acquired ride popped open, blocking his view.
The suspect stopped the car and ran away, but two nearby patrol officers caught the suspected thief, and the 22-year-old man is now in jail awaiting charges.
