A Utah telemarketing company is under fire after one of its employees threatened to kill a potential customer.
Teleperformance USA, based in Clearfield, was working under contract for telecommunications giant, Qwest, when one of its employees apparently threatened to kill a Colorado man.
That man says he told the telemarketer NOT to call again.
He received this return phone call recorded on his voice mail.
"YEAH, DID YOU UNDERSTAND THAT? **** HANG UP ON SOMEBODY LIKE THAT AGAIN ****, I'M COMING TO YOUR **** HOUSE YOU **** **** ****. WHAT THE **** YOU GONNA DO? I'LL ****KILL YOU."
The Evergreen, Colorado man who was threatened and gives only his first name, "Michael," --fears for his safety.
"Michael: ANYBODY WHO CALLS YOU HAS YOUR NAME, BY DEFAULT THEY HAVE YOUR NUMBER AND IF THAT INFORMATION IS PUBLIC-THEY HAVE YOUR ADDRESS AND POTENTIALLY A LOT MORE INFORMATION ABOUT YOU."
A spokesperson for Teleperformance USA refused an interview, but he released the following statement:
The individual in question has been subject to disciplinary action and no longer works for the company.

Right now the caller faces a charge of misdemeanor phone harassment, however, federal charges of threatening communication are expected to be filed as the FBI becomes involved in the investigation
