(Kingman, Arizona-AP) -- One of three suspects involved in an Arizona Department of Public Safety shooting near Kingman, Arizona, has pleaded guilty to drug charges related to the incident.
22-year-old Zhao Yang has pleaded guilty to transportation of marijuana for sale. He agreed to a prison sentence of three-point-five years, and additional charges were dropped.
Yang, of Salt Lake City, was taken into custody shortly after a D-P-S officer shot one of two Chinese nationals during a traffic stop on Interstate 40 south of Kingman.
During a search, 125 pounds of marijuana were found in the trunk of Yang's car, prosecutors said.
