(KSL News) --
A Springville man is facing felony charges of rape.
While employed as an ambulance driver by the city of Springville, Bret MacArthur developed an inappropriate sexual relationship with a minor and is now charged with two counts of rape.
Police say he developed a friendship with an ailing woman and her 16-year-old daughter after making several visits to their home in response to emergency calls.
MacArthur's relationship became intimate with the girl after he proposed polygamist marriage.
If convicted, he could face five years to life in prison.
